Community Ed Spring Hanging basket event
Click “sign up” below to get registered for the 2026 Community Ed Spring Hanging Basket Event. This event is put on by Park Rapids Community Education and Teresa Ohm will lead the class. There will be assorted plants to choose how to make your own spring hanging basket. Teresa will be available for tip as well as she will keep the baskets in the greenhouse and grow them until it is warm enough to put them outside. The times for the event are open to come and go any time while it is open but usually allow for an hour for making your basket.

Kids Planting event
Looking for a fun and meaningful activity for your kids this spring? Join us at Flying W Gardens for our Kids Planting Event!
From May 7th through May 10th, kids ages 12 and under are invited to stop in anytime during regular business hours to create their very own planted pot—no appointment needed!
🌱 Event Details:
- Dates: May 7th – May 10th
- Time: Come and go during regular business hours
- Cost: $8 per pot
- Ages: 12 and under
Each child will get to plant their own pot, choosing up to 3 plants to create something truly special. It’s a fun, hands-on experience that lets kids get creative while learning a little about plants along the way.
